Royal British Legion

Every Man Remembered was an initiative to make sure every single Commonwealth soldier who fell during WW1 was remembered - over 1 million of them. The campaign was founded on clever use of data. DM packs were personalised with individual, fallen soldiers whose name matched that of the recipient - making these distant, historical figures seem much closer to supporters. Even Doordrops were personalised with soldiers who were from local regiments - an innovation which led to a DMA Gold in 2015.
